On April 25, 2024, CATL, the world’s leading battery maker, unveiled the Shenxing Plus battery, marking the global debut of the first lithium iron phosphate battery with a driving range of 1,000 kilometers on a single charge and supporting 4C ultra-fast charging, capable of replenishing 600 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes.

CATL innovates in both battery’s materials and structure, applying self-developed three-dimensional honeycomb materials to the Shenxing Plus battery to enhance the anode’s energy density and control the volume expansion during charging and discharging.
