The CMTP is set to provide up to 675,000 Canadian dollars over three years to support private sector investments in the critical minerals supply chain, specifically targeting pilot traceability projects in the commercialization phase. The funding will be administered by the Critical Minerals Centre of Excellence (CMCE) within the Canadian Department of Natural Resources, which will accept applications for sponsorship from Canadian companies specializing in traceability technology. While collaboration with other companies, organizations, or government entities is encouraged, it is not mandatory.
