According to data from the China Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, China's lithium battery production in August reached 73.3 GWh, representing a month-on-month growth of 7.4% and a year-on-year increase of 46.8%. From January to August, China's cumulative lithium battery production reached 456.2 GWh.

In August, the combined sales of power and energy storage batteries in China totaled 65.0 GWh, marking a month-on-month increase of 13.3%. Among these, the sales of power batteries amounted to 55.1 GWh, accounting for 83.5% of the total.

In August, the top five domestic power battery companies in terms of vehicle installations were Ningde Times, BYD, CATL, Guoxuan High-Tech, and EVE Energy.
